Somerset Child Care

Somerset Montessori at Parker is an outstanding provider of child care and early childhood education. It is located within the Parker at Somerset campus in a beautiful newly built space.

A Montessori education enables the child to experience the joy of learning at an early age. At the heart of Montessori philosophy is the fundamental belief that every child possesses the innate potential to cultivate their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.

This program caters to infants through 5-year-olds, providing a nurturing environment for holistic growth. The Infant program fosters a bond with your baby and a nurturing environment with the individual caregiver. The Toddler program offers children eighteen months to three years old experiences that support the development of their confidence and independence. The Primary program provides children aged three through five with an academically enriched environment within a well-ordered social community.

To enroll or for more information, please contact Ayesha at 848.237.2216 or director@somersetmontessori.com.

Highland Park Child Care

The Child Development Center (CDC) at Parker is committed to providing a high-quality early childhood program. It offers a safe and nurturing environment while promoting young children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.

The CDC is a state-of-the-art daycare facility open to the community. It serves children from six weeks to five years old with specially designed infant, toddler, and preschool programs until they are ready for kindergarten.

The most important goal of the CDC curriculum is for our children to become self-confident, independent, and enthusiastic learners who can work well with others. Through many activities, songs, stories, games, and loving instruction, we encourage our children to think, reason, and experiment while fostering a positive self-image.

To enroll or for more information, don’t hesitate to contact Robin Kessler, Director, at 732.565.2410 or  cdcatparker@yahoo.com. Visit the Child Development Center’s website: www.CDCatParker.com.

The Eden Alternative® and our Intergenerational Program

The Child Development Center is located at Parker at the Pavilion in Highland Park, while Somerset Montessori is situated at the Parker at Somerset Campus. Both locations embody the Eden Philosophy, which holds that children, animals, and plants can significantly enrich the lives of senior citizens. The program seeks to cultivate meaningful relationships between children and adults, provide opportunities for multi-generational experiences that promote cooperation and interaction, and encourage residents to share their knowledge with the children, fostering a deeper understanding of the aging process.

The children occasionally visit our homes and programs to engage in activities and projects with our residents and participants. Through developing high-quality intergenerational programming, we have created an environment where generations can connect in a healthy and mutually enriching way. Our approach captures the essence of The Eden Alternative, offering a range of comprehensive and compassionate activities designed to bring joy to everyone involved.
